Challenge Track 2019

ChallengeTrack 2019

During the track, you will be working to solve the challenge: "Bending the curve of obesity" – a case presented by Steno Diabetes Center and Cities Changing Diabetes.

The Challenge Track consists of seven 3-hour sessions running on Tuesdays from October 15th. At the last session on December 12th, you will present your insights and receive feedback on your idea at an event at the Maersk Tower..

Your work with case providers, policy makers, and healthcare professionals during the Challenge Track is not only a theoretical assignment. It's real people looking for real solutions.

10 weeks – 7 modules

Starting on October 15th, you will be running through the following programs:

      • October 15th

        Welcome & Introduction

        Introduction to the Challenge Track and the basic concepts of idea & product development, entrepreneurship.

      • October 22nd

        The Challenge

        Introduction to the challenge: "Bending the curve of obesity". Creating an environment of trust and general introdution to the program. The challenge has been crafted in collaboration with School of Global Health and "Global Health Case Challenge 2019".

      • October 29th

        Investigate: Meet the Policymakers

        Meet the policymakers at the conference "Sundhedsinnovation i fællesskab at the Faculty of Health Sciences".
    • November 12th


      Ideation: Selecting the first ideas and creation of "preetotypes" – very early prototype.

    • November 26th

      Test, Iterate and Co-create

      Using your prototype to getting early feedback on your idea from healthcare professionals.

    • December 3rd

      Deliver: Presentation techniques

      Learning and training the art of presenting your idea . Last iterations of the initial ideas.

    • December 12th

      Demo Day

      "Presentation of discoveries, ideas, prototypes and insights before a panel of industry and research professional. Networking and celebration at the Mærsk Tower. "
